Carbon Exposure
noun: the vulnerability of a company should its carbon footprint become factored into its stock price and financial condition in a future carbon regulatory environment. Carbon exposure may be expressed as a financial ratio, as a percentage of its carbon emissions (on a per ton unit basis) to a financial variable (i.e., market capitalization) or variables.
