Carbon Loading

verb: the net build-up of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere due to the outpacing of carbon emissions, originating primarily from human fossil fuel consumption, to carbon absorption and uptake from primarily natural carbon sinks.  Carbon loading is another way of describing rising atmospheric carbon dioxide levels, the root cause of global warming.
