verb: the aggregation of carbon credits, generated by individual sequestration projects, by an agency, government or company for sale on a climate exchange or for investment-purposes. Advantages of carbon pooling include economies of scale, which reduces costs, and increased visibility and viability of the group of sequestration projects.
